How to Attach a Boat
to a Cart
Choose a cart with two wheels and often an extra leg for stability, where you can balance the boat in the middle. With these carts by balancing it in the middle, you will carry very little weight.
Many of our carts have the straps attached. They have been cut and attached as it ensure you will be able to use them properly if the straps are already attached to the legs. Lay the boat on the cart somewhat in the middle. Bring the buckle side of the strap over the boat and the other strap over as well . You will thread the longer strap through the buckle. Go thru the buckle from the bottom and then pull tightly so it is snug to the boat. Throw excess strap in the boat, and repeat with the other strap. Be sure to tighten each strap. Boat should be secure this way and will make it easy to move. You can do the same with tandem boats or with a canoe. If you still having trouble securing the boat, please call me. Thank you to Andy Barry for his help in this project. Sue
